Advt No.2/2024 : Appointment of Project Associate – I – on Contract basis
Project description:
We are a computational lab that works on modeling large protein assemblies involved in chromatin remodeling, cell-cell junctions, and cytoskeletal machinery. We are looking for candidates who are interested in computational modeling of structures of protein assemblies. Specifically, the candidate will work on integrative modeling of complexes involved in host-pathogen interactions in mTB. The candidate can also contribute to other ongoing projects in the lab a) molecular dynamics pipelines for simulating intrinsically disordered regions in assemblies b) machine learning methods for analyzing cryo-electron tomography data. Experience required:
- Education: Bachelor or Masters in Phys/Chem/Bio/Maths/Engg.
- Experience in computational biology: atleast 1 year of programming/research experience.
Age limit: 35 years
- Salary offered:
- 25,000 + HRA (without CSIR/GATE/equivalent qualification)
- 31,000 + HRA (with CSIR/GATE/equivalent qualification)
