Responsibilities:
- Superior Innovations & Project management
- Technical project lead for innovation projects
- Competition & trends mapping
- In-depth understanding of differential face + body care product formats
- Basic appreciation on Color cosmetics & optics technologies
- Lead Interactions with key suppliers for 3P open innovation initiatives
- Facilitate information flow for clearances
- Product manufacturing – hardware understanding
- Responsible for delivering Technical Transfer via PLM
- Troubleshooting – managing the quality & manufacturing issues
- Material chemistry & qualifications
- Analyse consumer complaints and provide feedback to Quality assurance
- Build and maintain strong networks with cross functional and BU teams
- Interface with senior stakeholders
- Support on Clinical & in vitro/ex vivo testing
- Support claims at RCF. Responsible for Legal & regulatory clearances
- Coordinate with CTI / CMI teams for consumer insights & product testing
- Lead the agenda on regulatory compliances
Skill set:
- Fair understanding of ingredient chemistry
- Ability to work independently with cross functional partners
- Working knowledge of the claims challenge and substantiation process
- Basic understanding of sustainability
- Business acumen – basic level
- Excellent Project management skills
- Excellent communication & presentation skills
Area of Specialisation:
Formulation Development and Processing
Necessary Qualifications:
Postgraduate in Pharmacy (M. Pharm)/Chemistry/Cosmetic Technology or chemical Engg
Experience: At least 8-10 years of skin care formulation design & development experience (specifically as a hands-on formulation and processing of skin care & cleansing formats)
