Advertisement for Project Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position
Applications are invited for two post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position to work in SERB-CRG funded project, details are given below:
Project Title: First Direct Access to (Hetero) Functionalized Enantioenriched Pyrazolines and Isoxazolines Using Hypervalent Iodine Catalysis
Temporary Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
No. of vacancies: 01
Emoluments: ₹31,000/- per month for first two years and ₹35,000/- per month for third year
Essential Qualifications:
Post graduate degree (MSc) in Chemistry or equivalent degree in Chemistry selected through a process described through any one of the following:
- Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET including lecturership (Assistant Professorship) or GATE.
- The Selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc.
Desirable Experience: Research experience in organic synthesis/catalysis.
Age Limit: The upper age limit for applying for the JRF shall be 28 years, which is relaxed up to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to Schedule Castes/Schedule Tribes/, Physically Handicapped/Visually Handicapped and female applicants whereas 3 years in case of OBCs (Non-creamy layer candidates).
Tenure: Till end of the project (December 2025).
