Advertisement for Project Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position
Centre of Biomedical Research (CBMR) is an autonomous centre of the Government of Uttar Pradesh. Located in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, CBMR is dedicated to conducting advanced biomedical research and contributing to the development of healthcare solutions.
Project Title: Biocatalytic Method for the Asymmetric Synthesis of Pharmaceutically Important Substituted Benzodiazepines, Benzoxazepines and Benzothiazepines using Imine Reductases
Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Number of Vacancies: 01
Emoluments: ₹31,000/- per month for the first two years and ₹35,000/- per month for the third year
Essential Qualifications
Post graduate degree (MSc) in Chemistry or equivalent degree in Chemistry selected through a process described through any one of the following:
- Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET including lecturership (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
- The Selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc.
Desirable Experience: Practical experience in organic synthesis.
Age Limit: The upper age limit for applying for the JRF shall be 28 years, which is relaxed up to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to Schedule
Castes/Schedule Tribes/Physically Handicapped/Visually Handicapped and female applicants whereas 3 years in the case of OBCs (Non-creamy layer candidates).Tenure: Till the end of the project
