The Outsource Agency invites online applications to fill the following post, to work at IIT Jammu on outsource basis:-

Job Title: Project Officer(Chemistry)
Age: 35 years
Duration: Initially for 06 month or as per requirement (extendable based on the performance and requirement)
Salary: ₹ 35,000/- to 45,000/- per month
Eligibility Criteria:
Master degree in Chemistry with Sound knowledge in laboratory experiments (UG and PG level) and analytical and spectroscopic techniques. The candidate having prior laboratory experience either in teaching lab or research lab in chemistry and handling equipment will be preferred. Marks with 60% or more or its equivalent grade in Bachelor’s
and master’s Degree
Desired:
(i) The candidate preferably should have knowledge and hands on experience in operating at least some of the sophisticated analytical and spectroscopic instruments such as FT-IR, UV-Vis-NMR spectrophotometer, Cyclic Voltammetry, Mass Spectrometry, Chromatography such as GC and HPLC, etc. (ii) The candidate having prior laboratory experience in chemistry and handling equipment will be preferred.
General Instructions:
(i) Candidates should read carefully the requisite minimum essential qualifications, age and eligibility, experience criteria etc. laid down in the advertisement.
(ii) The outsource Agency will be depute the selected candidate at IIT Jammu on outsource basis.
(iii) This is purely a temporary engagement, and selection does not entitle for any claim what-so- ever regularization against any regular post or any vacancy arising in future in this or any other cadre/post on the basis of this service at the client organization, that is, IIT Jammu.
(iv) Good knowledge of Computer applications (on emails, word processing, spreadsheet, presentations software etc. and OS like MS-Windows) is a must.
(v) Only Shortlisted candidates will be called for written test and interview. Mere qualifications may not ensure short-listing. A higher criteria may be adopted to ensure fulfilling reasonable number of candidates.
(vi) The Candidates need to bring all the original documents for verification during interview.
