NIIT MSc Chemistry Jobs Applications are invited from Indian Nationals only for Project Positions as per the details given below, under the principal investigator Dr.K.N.Sheeba, Associate Professor, Department of Chemical Engineering & Dr.J. Sarat Chandra Babu, Professor (HAG), Department of Chemical Engineering, in National Institute of Technology,
Tiruchirappalli-15, Tamil Nadu.
Project Title: Design and Development of ‘In-Situ Indigenous Soil Analysis system’ for effective Fertigation in Precision Farming
Funding Agency for the Project: DST-AGROTECH

Qualifications: BE/ B.Tech in Chemical Engineering and ME/M.Tech in Chemical Engineering with valid GATE score, M.Sc Chemistry / Physics / Material Science/Applied Chemistry/Applied Physics/Applied Electronics with NET/GATE Qualified
Area of expertise required: Synthesis of nano materials, electrochemistry
Emoluments: Rs. 35,960/- inclusive of HRA
Duration: 6 months
Job Description: Design and development of ion selective based electrode for soil nutrient analysis and soil pH
A. Candidates desiring to appear for the Interview should submit their applications with the following documents to the Office of the Principal Investigator through Registered/ Post or Mail ([email protected]). on or before 4 th August 2023 (Word as well as PDF format).
B. Candidates before appearing for the interview shall ensure
that they are eligible for the position they intend to apply.C. The attested copies of all the relevant documents pertaining to the application

D. Please note that no TA/DA is admissible for attending the interview.
E. The application should be submitted only in the prescribed format.
F. Experience includes research, industrial field and others.
G. Attested copies of degree/ certificate and experience certificate will be verified for
the shortlisted candidates.
H. Mere full filling the above criteria will not be sufficient. The higher criteria for the
selection of the candidates may be imposed based on the number of applications.
I. The selection committee’s decision is final. If any applicant is found to canvass in
any manner, the candidate selection shall be summarily rejected.
J. The interview date and time and mode of interview will be intimated through email
for the shortlisted candidates.
