BITS Pilani Latest Jobs Applications are invited for the position of Project Associate-I in the Department of Chemistry at BITS Pilani, K. K. Birla Goa Campus, Goa for a Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB-POWER grant) sponsored research project on Porphyrinoids for energy-relevant applications.

Broad area of Research: Bio-inorganic/Inorganic Chemistry, Porphyrinoids, Electrocatalysis
Project Details:
i) This project will involve design and synthesis of a class of porphyrinoids.
ii) To explore the coordination chemistry and electrochemistry of above-synthesized
molecules.
iii) Further utilization of these porphyrinoids as electrocatalysts will also be tested for
energy-relevant applications.
Duration of the project: 3 years. (The appointment will be renewed every year based on satisfactory performance).
Fellowship Amount (Rs.): Rs. 25000 + 16% HRA per month
Accommodation: Hostel accommodation will be provided subjected to availability and will be governed by the rules and regulations of the institute prevailing at the time of joining of the candidate.
Qualification: M.Sc. (Chemistry) or M.Pharm. (with specialization in Chemistry / Medicinal Chemistry / Pharmaceutical Chemistry / Natural Product Chemistry) or M.Tech. (Chemical Engineering)
