Job Title: QC Lab In Charge

Eligbility Criteria: 02 years in Laboratory Operations in Large Hydrocarbons Sector
2 years full time regular M.Sc. in Chemistry.
Work Experience applicable for role:
• Minimum 02 years of experience in Laboratory Operations in Large Hydrocarbon sector.
• Minimum 01-year experience in LNG sector will be preferred.
• Experience in laboratory operations like Gas Analysis in GC, analysis for water and monitoring of Laboratory equipment used for Oil & Gas Sector.
Key Job Responsibilities:
• Handling analytical equipment like Gas Chromatograph, Ph & Conductivity meter, sample analysis, preparation of sample specification etc. in Hydrocarbon Industry.
• LNG sampling collection during each Ship unloading period and make all arrangement for sample analysis, calculation of GHV & NHV of LNG.
• Preservation of One set of sampling and use for co-relation test comparing with load port LNG sampling analysis. Coordination with LNG supplier for total value of LNG
load consignment.Collection of sampling from RLNG Send-out header and analysis & calculation of GHV & NHV. Regular comparison with on line GC value and confirming Joint Ticket valuation.
• Ph & Conductivity of condensed water, fire water, Glycol water.
• Regular analysis of drinking water and confirming quality as per standard.
• Analysis of oil, exhaust gas and analysis related to Plant health for monitoring and identification for necessary action plan.
• Maintaining all laboratory equipment and accessories and procurement all laboratory reagent as per requirement.
• Maintaining safety guidelines for use of laboratory equipment,
• Ensure all analysis procedures are to be as per analysis standard.
• Maintaining all ISO management system.
• Participating in handling emergencies as per Emergency Response & Disaster management Plan.
• The incumbent should be well versed with the knowledge of Codes and Standards applicable for measurement / analysis of gas /petroleum fractions.

OTHER TERMS & CONDITIONS
• For all the above positions, candidates must secure minimum 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates) in
Graduation.
• Preference will be given to candidates with relevant experience.
• The courses offered by Autonomous Institutions / Foreign universities should be equivalent to the relevant courses approved/recognized by Association of Indian Universities (AIU/UGC/AICTE).
• All work experiences will be considered post qualifying degree only.
Pay Scale: 40000-140000 INR
CTC Approx: 9.35 lakhs
Placement/Posting: All posting/assignment will be at greenfield LNG Terminal at Chhara, District Gir-Somnath, Gujarat, India. Except Engineer – Operations position which will be based at Corporate Office, Mumbai. Positions based at Chhara may involve working in shift duties. Given Postings are transferable within HPCL LNG Limited, as per business requirement.
Probation: The Selected Officers will be on Probation for 1 year from the Date of Joining. Upon successful completion of the Probation period, the officer will be considered for confirmation as per company policy.
