Bharathidasan University Hiring – Chemistry Project Fellow Post
Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the temporary position of Project Fellow to work in the Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA 2.0) sponsored thematic research project “Component 10 : Research, Innovation and Quality Improvement” – Physical Sciences under the supervision of Dr. V. Thiagarajan, Department of chemistry, Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli – 620 024
Job Title: Project Fellow – One
Area of work: Macrocycles as chemical sensor and OLED materials, Organic dyes for green applications like biosensors
Duration: 2 Years
The position is purely temporary, with an appointment until the tenure of the
project (Less than six months)
Qualifications: M.Sc. / M.Phil (Chemistry) with minimum of 60 % marks / CGPA 6.1 and above)
Age Limit: Upper age limit 28 years (Relaxation in age: 5 years for SC/ ST)
Fellowship: Rs. 14,000/-pm (consolidated)
The selected candidate will be highly encouraged to apply for the regular Ph.D. program of Bharathidasan University, provided they satisfy necessary eligibility criteria.

2. The appointment is purely temporary and will terminate automatically without any notice or compensation on termination of the research project.
3. The appointed person shall have no claim of appointment/absorption in Funding Agency.
4. No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the interview.
