Masters of Science (M.Sc. Organic chemistry), preferably with a Diploma in Intellectual Property Law

Relevant Work Experience

• 2-5 years experience in a pharmaceutical Organization.

Job Purpose

Conducting Patent search, preparing preliminary Patent landscape, updating landscapes, assist in portfolio activities, reviewing process and other data for FTOs, etc.

Key Accountabilities (1/6)

Support product development by providing patent searches, preliminary patent landscapes & Support selection of products for portfolio

• Conduct patent search and tracking
• Prepare preliminary patent landscape

Key Accountabilities (2/6)

Provide support in patent litigation and opposition

• Pre-work for litigation
• Searching and Downloading documents
• Support in legalizing the documents

Key Accountabilities (3/6)

• Support in conduct patent search in order to determine patentable inventions and
• consequently file and prosecute patent applications for augmenting and bolstering patent estate
• Perform patentability searches
• Prepare preliminary patentability report
• Prepare preliminary patent drafts and file patent applications
• Maintain & update prosecution status

Support due diligence of products to apprise stakeholders about key patent rights to identify acquisition or early launch potential
