VIT MSc Chemistry Recruitment 2023 – MSc Candidates Apply
Applications are invited for the Post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for a project funded by Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), DST, Government of India to the Department of Chemistry, School of Advanced Sciences (SAS), Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT).
Project Title: “Improving Mechanical Properties of Pharmaceutical Drugs Through Crystal Engineering”
Location: Vellore, Tamil Nadu, India
Qualification: MSc Chemistry/Pharmaceutical Chemistry
Desirable (if any):
M.Sc. Qualification (with above 60 % marks) with NET/GATE. Age not exceeding 35 years as of the date of interview. Candidates having adequate knowledge and experience in various crystallization methods, characterization techniques such as SCXRD, PXRD, NMR, FTIR, etc. will be preferred. Knowledge of technical writing will be preferred.
Stipend: Rs. 31,000 + Rs. 2,480 (HRA) per month for 2 years
*M.Sc. candidates without NET/GATE will be paid as per VIT norms.
