Walk in interview for two posts of Analysts to be engaged on contract basis in the
Central Instrumentation Facility of OUAT is scheduled to be held on 10/02/2023 at 11
am in Central Instrumentation Facility, College of Agril. Engg & Tech.,OUAT,
Bhubaneswar 751002.
Applications are invited for walk-in-interview for contractual engagement of two (2) Analysts as detailed below.
Job Title: Analyst

Duration: 1 Year and likely to be extended for another year subject to
satisfactory performance
Salary: Rs.30000/month (Consolidated)

Essential Qualifification:
- A minimum second Class Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry/BioChemistry with at least 55% marks.
- A Master’s Degree in Chemistry/Bio Chemistry with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in the concerned subjects from a reputed university or organization.
Desirable Qualification:
- Research experience of 1-2 years in Research Laboratory /University
- Experience in handling spectroscopy and chromatography instruments such as ICP OES, GC MS, HPTLC, FTIR,UV VIS Spectrophotometer, CHNS analyser etc.
- Participation in workshops/training programs of laboratory techniques and instrumentation.
Age limit:
21 – 45 years, as on date of interview (Age relaxation SC/ST/ OBC/PWD/ Women and other
exempted categories as per ICAR / GOI guidelines).
Salary: Rs.30,000/month(consolidated)
Place of posting:
Central Instrumentation Facility (CIF) of OUAT, under the administrative control of the DEAN, College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology, Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology, Bhubaneswar.
Nature of Job:
The incumbent will have to operate different equipment at CIF and analyse the samples received.

appear for walk-in-interview as scheduled with filled up prescribed bio-data and
original supporting documents. Note: No TA/DA will be paid for attending the
interview
Terms and conditions:
1. Candidates fulfilling the essential criteria/qualification only need to attend the walk-in interview in Central Instrumentation Facility),OUAT, Bhubaneswar along with their credentials as per the format given at ANNEXURE along with self-attested copies of all the testimonials and age proof with a passport size photograph and experience certificate (if any) at the time of interview.
2. The candidate must also bring all the original certificates from matriculation onwards and
experience certificate (if any) with them, without which the candidate will not be allowed for the interview.
3. The candidates called for interview are not entitled for TA/DA.
4. Candidates should also bring no objection certificate from the Employer in case he/she is
employed elsewhere.
5. This temporary appointment will be for a period of one year (1 Year) from the date of joining and may be extended for another one year subject to satisfactory performance and their services will automatically stand terminated after the contract period or even before, at the discretion of the Competent Authority. The appointment will not bestow upon them any claim for regular employment at OUAT.
6. Written examination may be conducted if the applications are too many.
7. Concealing of facts or canvassing in any form shall lead to disqualification of the Candidature or termination even after appointment.
8. The final merit list/Selection will be done on the basis of weightage on career, experience, personal interview (and the marks of the written examination if conducted for screening of candidates. In case written examination for screening is conducted only four candidates will be considered for each post for interview on the basis of marks in written test).
9. The authority reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of positions depending upon the vacancy of the project at the time of engagement or to cancel the interview without assigning any reason thereof.
10. The selected candidates will be required to undergo medical examination as per the rules for ensuring their physical fitness before appointment.
11. The Analysts after joining may also leave the assignment on their own by giving one months’ notice or one months salary.
