Job Title: Assistant Manager – Procurement (R&D)
Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
Eligbility Criteria & Experience:
Min 4-5 years of exp in R&D Procurement with Pharmaceutical/ Biotechnology company.
B.Sc./ B.Pharm. degree. Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
Knowledge/Skills:
- Good Negotiation skills
- Vendor identification and qualification
- Understanding of R&D product development
- Understanding of testing needs of R&D projects
Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor and ensure the procurement of all RM/Chemicals/related needs required for R&D products.
- Identify the Vendors for New R&D and Cost Improvement Projects.
- RLD Procurement for CT.
- R&D related Outsourcing Projects for testing and development
- Ensure timely conversion of R&D indent/PR to PO and deliverance: OTIF monitoring.
- Follow up for material delivery, co-ordination for GRN & Vendor Payments.
- Selection of Vendors, Contract negotiations – Procurement Approval per BSV policy
- Build trust and respect to enhance quality of relationship and service with stakeholders
- Proactively offer help and support to stakeholders and build goodwill with them
- Monthly MIS on deliverance and savings
- Generate relevant and accurate data/reports for efficient Leadership decision making process
- Proactively participate to create impact, and improve efficiency of strategic initiatives towards organizational transformation
