Applications are invited from interested and motivated candidates for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF)/ Project Associate-1 in a time-bound research project for a temporary period purely on a contractual basis as per the following details:

Project Title: Test Method Development for Releasable Formaldehyde-Content Detection from Artificial Leather

Principal Investigator: Dr. Krishna Chaitanya Etika, Department of Chemical Engineering
Project Tenure: 06 Months
Job Description: The JRF will work on the artificial leather samples received from the industrial partners. He/She will work in close contact with the industrial team to quantify the amount of VOC(formaldehyde) emanating from the manufactured products. The work
involves testing strategy development, comparing the results with the existing literature, and improvising on the detection accuracy. Hands-on experience on HPLC measurements will be an added advantage.
Qualification: First class Master’s Degree in Chemistry/Physics/Materials Science/Nanotechnology or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or equivalent +GATE/NET/GPAT qualified.
(Those who are not GATE/NET/GPAT qualified shall be considered for the post lower
than JRF as per Government of India norms)
Fellowship: 31,000/- per month for NET/GATE qualified candidates.
25,000/-per month for non-NET/GATE qualified candidates.
