NLC India Limited NLCIL, a premier ‘NAVRATNA’ Public Sector Enterprise with an Annual Turnover Consolidated of INR. 11,947.94crores is spreading its wings in the frontiers of Mining Lignite &Coal, Thermal Power Generation, and Renewable energy.

The Corporate Plan of the Company has many ambitious expansion schemes for massive capacity augmentation in the years to come. To add to its strength and fuel its growth, the Company is looking for talents in various disciplines for its units, offices and facilities located in Neyveli (Tamil Nadu), Barsingsar (Rajasthan), Talabira (Odisha), South Pachwara (Jharkhand) and other locations of Solar / Wind Power Projects / Sites in Tamil Nadu, Andaman & Assam including its Subsidiaries and Joint Ventures at Tuticorin (NTPL), Tamil Nadu & Ghatampur (NUPPL), Uttar Pradesh.

Job Title: Executive Engineer (Chemical) – (E4 Grade)

No.of posts: 02 (UR-02)

Elibgility Criteria: Full-time / Part-time Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering.

Pay Scale:

CTC per annum (in INR.Approx.): 17.40 Lakhs

Length of Post qualification experience: EE (E-4 Grade) – 05 Years.

Area of Post qualification experience:

Experience in gas separation technologies used in coal gasification/Petroleum Refinery
(or) Hands-on experience with Carbon reduction technologies/Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG)
(or) Hands-on experience with the start-up and troubleshooting of industrial plants/pilot plant or research engineering/developing preliminary P&IDs (piping and instrumentation diagram) and PFDs (process flow diagram)

Preferable:

Experience in developing practical new processes or technologies from concept into a working technology to pilot plant to installation and commissioning / Experience in operation in petrochemical plant/refinery/fertilizer plant / Experience in gas separation
technologies used in coal gasification.

PROBATION: –

Selected candidates on appointment will be on probation for a period of one year from the date of joining the post notified above.

PLACE OF POSTING

Selected candidates are liable to be posted to any Unit/Area/Place under the control

METHOD OF SELECTION:

For Legal Discipline:

• Selection will be based on a Written Test (80 marks) for evaluation of Professional Knowledge, followed by a Personal Interview (20 marks).
• The minimum qualifying marks in Written Test is 50% for UR / EWS and 40% for OBC (NCL)/ SC/PwBD candidates, against the reserved posts. No minimum Qualifying marks in Personal Interview. Relaxation in minimum qualifying marks shall not apply for SC/ST/OBC (NCL) candidates considered under UR category.
• Candidates who qualify the Written Test will be permitted to attend Personal Interview based on short-listing criteria (1:6).
• The Final selection shall be in the order of merit based on the total marks scored by the candidates out of 100 marks, (i.e.) sum of marks scored in Written Test and Personal Interview, ensuring due reservation.

For other Disciplines (Except Legal Discipline):

• Selection will be based on a Personal Interview.
• The minimum qualifying marks in the personal interview shall be 50% of prescribed score for UR / EWS candidates and 40% in the case of SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PwBD candidates against the reserved posts. Relaxation in minimum qualifying marks shall not apply for SC/ST/OBC (NCL) candidates considered under UR category.
• The final selection of candidates shall be in the order of merit based on the marks scored by the candidates in the Personal Interview, subject to scoring the minimum qualifying marks prescribed, ensuring due reservation.
• In case of higher response for any particular post, management reserves the right to conduct Screening Test.

HOW TO APPLY?

• Candidates should apply only through the online mode in NLC India Limited website www.nlcindia.in.
• Before registering/applying online, the candidates should ensure that they have a mobile number and valid & active personal email ID and keep them active for the entire selection duration as NLCIL will send all selection-related communications only through SMS / email until the selection process is completed.
• Candidates have to upload required scanned copies of documents/certificates in the prescribed format to establish their eligibility, failing which the application is liable for rejection.
• Candidates applying for more than one post should apply and submit separate Registration-cum-Application Form & receipt for fee along with the requisite enclosures for each post(s).
• Candidates should submit a single application only for any post. In case of multiple applications/registrations for any post, the last registered application shall only be considered.
• Candidates should ensure that they have uploaded the required documents before submitting applications, for their benefit, after uploading a
  the document “View Document” option will be provided in the on-line portal to check.
• After payment of the required application Fee & uploading the required documents/certificates, candidates should submit their application through
  ONLINE, candidates should take a printout of the registration cum application form and produce it along with self-attested copies of certificates
  / documents, at the time of Document / Certificate verification.
• Scrutiny of applications for shortlisting of candidates for Selection will be solely based on documents/certificates uploaded by the candidates
  at the time of registration/submission of application through ONLINE.
• No manual / paper applications will be entertained and candidates are advised not to send any hard copy to this office.
