Eligibility Criteria & Skills:
- Chemical Engineering graduate with 5-10 years of relevant work experience.
- Demonstrable working experience in the oil & gas, refining, petrochemical, chemical, power generation, industrial gases, or related industries
Comprehensive understanding of thermodynamics and fluid dynamics and the ability to apply these to novel applications - Experience working with multidisciplinary teams to complete full project designs and integrations (green field and/or brown field projects)
- Familiar with internationally recognized codes and standards (ASME, NFPA, NEC, PED, ISO, IEC, GB, etc.)
- Self-motivated, independent problem solver with strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Strong leadership abilities and experience coordinating and executing projects with broad and diverse teams
Job Description and Qualifications
Process and Process Systems Engineering:
- Run process simulations for pre-FEED and FEED equipment sizing and process optimization.
- Complete process designs/configurations and develop associated PFD’s
- Perform calculations and develop equipment process specifications for equipment packages (rotating), pressure vessels, and heat exchangers.
- Develop machinery, control valve, and relief system process specifications
- Interface with other disciplines and with suppliers to evaluate and refine components for process compatibility.
- Develop procedures for and support facility performance test and troubleshooting
- Lead the development and management of the projects P&ID’s, process safety valve sizing and selection, site vent and relief calculations, functional logic tables, critical safety valve tables, and operating procedures/training manuals.
- Participate in operability reviews, hazard reviews, and other safety evaluations (SIL, LOPA, and Fault Tree Experience a plus)
- Coordinate functional issues involving plant reliability, operability, and maintenance.
- Assist with Management and provide input into the plant design by reviewing the 3D piping model and overall facility arrangement (Plot Plan).
- Participate and help plan field-commissioning activities including Operational Readiness Inspections (ORI) / Pre-Start Up Safety Review (PSSR), Plant Start-up.
