Job Title: EHS Executive ( Contract role)
Location: Hyderabad, India
Eligibility Criteria:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry or Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering/Environmental Engineering.
Experience:
3 – 5 Years of Experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- PG/UG in Environmental Sciences, Chemistry or Bachelor in chemical engineering.
- Prior experience in a Chemical-based industry.
- Diploma in Safety from any recognized Board.
- Knowledge about the Chemicals risks associated with the chemicals.
- Knowledge on Safety Standards. (National & International).
Job Description
- Prepare EHS Dash boards and circulate the stakeholders.
- Tracking the Open Points and Closing the open Observations with discussing with all stakeholders.
- Assist in the compliance of applicable laws and regulations.
- Build, plan and implement comprehensive safety training to staff.
- Drafts inspection reports to document inspection findings.
- Track, Plan and report EHS Metrics – the fortnightly/monthly, etc. lab walk-through observations.
- Reporting to EHS committee on a monthly basis; Need to bring visibility to the leadership team.
- Creating Awareness among the staff on various aspects of the Environment by various Programs.
- Lead in conducting safety and Environment day celebrations like World Environmental day Celebrations and National Safety Week celebrations.
- Issue PPE inventory to Lab Staff.
- Assisting the EHS Manager in Conducting monthly Safety Audits & Inspections of the site.
Assisting the EHS Manager in Maintaining the New Chemical Inventory with respect to compatibility.
- Assisting the EHS Manager to ensure that Chemical Inventory is being maintained in the Labs.
- Updating the ERT List which is displayed at strategic locations.
- Should provide training to staff members on Safety related topics.
- Any other activity identified from time to time;
