NIPER M Pharma Job Opening 2022 – Junior Research Fellow
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for filling up the temporary JRF position under the project sanctioned by the Science and Engineering Research Board at the Department of Medical Device, National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research Ahmedabad (NIPER-A).

Qualification
- M.S.(Pharm.)/M.Pharm./M.Tech.(Pharm.); M.Tech./ M.E.; M.D., MDS, M.VSc.; PharmD; M.Sc.
- NET/GATE/GPAT qualified candidates will be given preference
Job Profile For this project, the candidate:
a) should have an understanding of biomaterials, polymers, material fabrication, and surface and bulk characterization of materials.
b) should have the ability to design hydrogel-based scaffold, polymer synthesis and its characterization.
c) should have the ability to perform in vivo animal model study which includes behavioral studies with rats, sectioning of the tissues on cryostat.
d) should have a basic understanding of molecular biology techniques (ELISA, Western blotting, Immunohistochemistry, RT PCR, etc.) and NGS analysis.

of interview The shortlisted candidates will be intimated by email. The tentative date of the interview is 6th May 2022.
The position is temporary and the offer will be initially for a period of 1 year with the possibility of further extension up to 3 years total based on the performance. The requisite qualification & experience etc. are given below.
Condition:
i) No TA/DA will be provided to the candidate for the interview.
ii) The PI shall not be responsible for any reason for non-receipt of the application document at the specified time which will result in disqualification/rejection of the application.
iii) The decision of the selection committee will be final.
iv) If the number of shortlisted candidates called for the interview is large, the selection
committee may decide to restrict the number of candidates for the interview to a reasonable limit after considering qualifications and experience over and above the minimum prescribed in the advertisement.
v) The appointment of the candidate will be governed by the terms and conditions of the
Institute/ funding agency particularly applicable to the said project as and when required.
vi) The selected candidate will have to join duty immediately on receipt of the offer.
vii) The fellowship may be terminated with a 30-day notice before completion of the tenure if performance till date is not deemed satisfactory.
