Applications are invited from talented candidates for engagement as Senior Project Associates, Project Associates, Project Assistants, and Scientific Administrative Assistants at various levels under different projects, tenable at CLRI, as per the qualification, age, etc., detailed in the table given below:
Job Title: Senior Project Associate
No.of posts: 01 Position
Essential: Master’s Degree in Pharmaceutical from a recognized University/ Institute plus 04 years’ experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific activities and services
Desirable: Candidates having experience in Drug discovery/ Computational Drug discovery will be given preference
Duration: 06 months
Salary: Rs.42,000/- plus HRA per month
Age: 40 years

Job Title: Project Associate – II
No.of posts: 01 Position
Essential: BE/ B.Tech in Chemical Engineering/ Instrumentation Engineering from a recognized University / Institute plus 02 years experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific
activities and services
Desirable: Candidates having experience in experimental techniques or in a Government
Research Institute and experience with analytical tools, software like MATLAB will be given preference
Duration: 01 year
Salary: Rs.28,000/- plus HRA per
monthAge: 35 years
General Terms and Conditions:
a) Eligible Candidates are required to apply through ONLINE mode only. The link for
ONLINE APPLICATION is available on CSIR-CLRI’s website https://www.clri.org/
b) The date for determining the upper age limit, qualifications and/or experience shall be
the closing date of submission of online applications.
c) After submission of ONLINE APPLICATION(s), the applicant should download the
application form / take the print of their application(s) form.
d) The candidate should NOT send their application form through post.
e) The prescribed qualifications should have been obtained through recognized Universities/ Institutions etc. Incomplete applications/ applications, application forms without requisite certificates/ documents are liable to be rejected.
f) Application other than the ONLINE form, will not be considered.
g) The screening of the candidates to be called for Interviews will be done prima facie on
the basis of information and documents furnished by them. Therefore, candidates must ensure to give full and correct/true information
h) Any discrepancy found in the information given in the application and that is evident in
original documents will make the candidate ineligible for appearing for the Interview
i) If at any subsequent date it is detected/found that the candidate has given incorrect
information or has withheld certain information or does not fulfill the eligibility criteria;
their candidature shall be canceled without assigning any reason whatsoever.
j) Eligible candidates will be called for an interview tentatively scheduled at Central Leather
Research Institute, Adyar, Chennai – 600020. This will be further subject to COVID-19
protocol in vogue at that time. In case of circumstances so warrant, the interview
may be held in virtual mode.
k) Candidates will be contacted only through Mobile numbers and Email IDs provided by
them in their application form.
l) The candidates called for interview should bring along with them the duly signed
application form, accompanied with self-attested photocopies of all the requisite
certificates, mark sheets in support of age, educational qualifications, experience, if
applicable, and submit the same along with Original certificates, mark sheets, at the time
of attending an interview for verification
m) The candidates will not be allowed to attend the interview if they do not bring the printed copy of their application form and or requisite certificates/mark sheet.
n) All applicants must fulfill the essential qualifications/ experience of the position and other conditions stipulated in the notification as on the last date of submission of the online
applications. They are advised to satisfy themselves before applying that they possess
the essential qualifications laid down for the position they are applying. No inquiry
asking for advice as to eligibility will be entertained.
o) Document/certificate furnished in a language other than Hindi or English, must be
accompanied with an English transcript of the same duly attested by a Gazetted Officer
or Notary.
p) Canvassing in any form and/ or bringing any influence political or otherwise will be
treated as a disqualification for the position.
q) Details of candidates short-listed for Interviews and other updates in the matter shall be
notified through the CLRI website: https://clri.org. Candidates are requested to watch the
CLRI website from time to time for updates.
r) The Competent Authority has a right to amend, delete and add terms & conditions to
this notification.
