The Site HSE Leader will provide support for common HSE Management Systems implementation in HLS Gurgaon Site. The Site HSE Leader will report into Site HSE leader, HLS Gurgaon site & matrix report to Area HSE Manager and will liaise with all various Teams to effectively manage HSE management systems as per Corporate HSE and HBT HSE Process.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental, Fire Engineering, etc.)
- Diploma / Degree / master’s degree in HSE / Industrial Safety.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in HS&E field in Manufacturing / Factory set up or another industrial establishment.
- Working experience in a multi-national company.

Key Responsibilities
- Implement the Common HSE Management System and monitor, identify, and control risks associated with the design, production, and delivery of products and services.
- Deploy processes to identify aspects and impacts, define compliance obligations, support operational controls, document structure and responsibility, monitor and measure performance to objectives, manage change, provide necessary training, implement corrective actions, and audit performance
- Support site to sustain HOS world-class certification.
- Drive HSE Championship Model.
- Drive Business Continuity Management (BCM)/business Impact Assessment (BIA).
- Drive ISO 45001:2018 & ISO 50001:2018 Certification requirements & Lead External Audits.
- Coordinate with HSE Regulatory authorities (as applicable) for all RETURNS, NOC, PERMITS & related compliances.
- Engage in methodologies for identification, evaluation, and mitigation of occupational hazards and risks in the workplace. Identify and control the risks emerging from physical, chemical, and other workplace hazards.
- Ensure Fire Safety equipments are maintained and working properly as per State/Central Fire Safety Norms and applicable NFPA codes
- Liasioning for State/Central Licenses from Pollution Control Board, NOC from CGWA, NOC from State Fire authority & other regulatory permits /NOC/ Licenses as applicable to site.
- Ensure all legal compliances of the site are identified, tracked and reviewed periodically.
- Also monitor the “Emerging Issue -like upcoming new regulations” etc.
- Deploy Employees Engagement Activities for the location with respect to HSE.
- Deploy Lean Problem-Solving techniques for Incident Investigations, Repetitive Correction Action etc
- Advocates HOS behaviors and Effective coach and role model
- Establish and ensure periodic Gemba Schedules is in place involving Leadership Team and corrective actions are adhered to.
- Ensure Emergency Procedures are established, implemented and communicated to all, Mock drills are adhered to and regular training in place
- Ensure Daily monitoring of Management System Tracking for close track of Site Actions assigned
- Ensure HSE Maturity Assessment in MST is updated and up to date
- Establish and ensure adherence to Training Needs assessment for the location. Lead and/or conduct HSE Training and educate the employees about job-related risks and its control measures.
- Involve and advise Department heads on the HSEMS requirements for new processes/project work
- Lead incident investigation process: Determine root cause(s); develop corrective actions; and conduct closure verification activities.
