Job Title: R&D Chemist – Master’s in Chemistry Must along with ICP-OES, IC, TGA, DSC experience

Location: Pune, Maharashtra, India

Eligibility Criteria & Experience: 

• Minimum educational requirement Master’s degree in Chemistry or similar discipline with four years of relevant experience.
• Candidates having qualifications that exceed the minimum job requirements will receive consideration for higher-level roles given (1) their experience, (2) additional job requirements, and/or (3) business needs. Depending on education, experience, and skills, opportunities might be available up to the job title R&D Sr. Chemist.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

Under direct supervision, applies current laboratory HSE standards to solve technical problems by understanding Halliburton technology and performing optimization.
May establish working relationships with customers, and the internal technical community.
Develops relationships through excellent communication skills and acts as a key resource to

Desired/Preferred Expertise & Characteristics:

• Proven ability to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments in an independent manner.
• Must have hands-on experience with sample preparation techniques for complex matrices.
• Extensive experience with GC-MS and XRD/XRF, data interpretation, and maintenance is desired.
• Experience with common analytical laboratory equipment including but not limited to the following: ICP-OES, IC, TGA, DSC.
• Willingness to learn, develop and execute new analytical methods and SOPs as needed.
  Highly organized and comfortable handling multiple projects simultaneously.
  A self-starting leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
