Job Title: Senior Research Scientist
Location: Mumbai Development Center – EPD
Purpose of Job:
Formulation Development of topical products viz cream, lotion, ointment, gel shampoo, s, etc and successful tech. transfer. at the production site under the guidance of the Group Leader.
Qualification & experience: M-pharma, pharmaceutics/M-pharma pharmaceutics with Ph.D., with a minimum experience of 6 years and above in developing Topical /semisolid dosage forms in domestic/ROW/Regulated market.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
- Literature Search
- Preformulation studies
- Formulation Development (From prototype formulation to the scale-up batch at R&D center)
- Stability studies
- Marketed sample evaluation
- SAP activity
- Preparation of supporting documents for the regulatory activity
- Preparation of the Tech. Transfer documents
- Technology transfer at the production site
Competencies Required:
- Sound knowledge of Basics.
- Good Formulation hand.
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills, with hands-on experience on topical dosage forms.
- Understand the Key values
- Provide input into the design and development of products to juniors/subordinates
- Work closely with other team members to ensure the team success
Functional Skills/ Know-how:
- Operation of Instruments.
- Basic Knowledge of Computer.
- Awareness of ICH guidelines
