Job Title: Apprentice
Location: India – Vizag
Preferred Qualification: Diploma in Pharmacy
Target years of experience: Freshers
Technical Skills:
Knowledge of pharmaceutical machine cleaning, operation, and maintenance
Understands workplace safety and related procedures (e.g. First Aid)
Standards, Processes & Policies:
- Basic understanding of cGMP and global Pfizer quality to meet the requirement of the 21CFR211.25.
- Basic understanding of Good documentation practice
- Basic understanding and follow ALCOA
Behavioral/Any Other Skills:
- Attention to detail
- Willingness to take direction and adhere to procedures
Responsibilities:
Ongoing Operation:
- Maintain personnel hygiene and cleanroom behavior
- Be aware of and always adhere to classified area entry and exit procedure
- Must have the ability to work effectively both independently and as a part of a team
- Check for proper housekeeping in his / her area
- Must have demonstrated knowledge of equipment operation, and be able to read and interpret equipment data and demonstrate the ability to communicate work requirements and problems in a concise and accurate manner. Execute the process according to the BMR/Protocols
- Perform the changeover, operation, and cleaning of the equipment as per procedures
- Receive the filled vials to be loaded into trays from the capping machine
- Fill the vials into trays as per procedures and transfer the trays into palates and send to the pre-storage area.
- Collect the samples for leak testing as per EBR
- Collect the sample Vials for In-process checks at specified regular intervals
- Perform the testing, segregation, and labeling as per procedures
- Ensure the equipment labels and maintenance of as per procedure
- Understands the basic concepts of AMPS, EAMS, and GLIMS
- Must be able to perform various functions of a repetitive nature while maintaining the concentration of the task
- Achieve the required output as per the norms
- Errors to be escalated to higher authority without hesitation
- simplifying the process by innovation
- Accountable for the area and equipment upkeep and SS items verification
- Perform the cleaning and sanitization of the area as per the procedures
- Handle waste and reject materials as per procedures.
- Hand over the shift at the end of shift and to take charge for the shift
- Coordinate with cross-functional department and participate in preventive and breakdown maintenance of equipment and machines
- Collect and submit the samples to QC\micro department for specified products
Quality management and Compliance: - Follow cGMP and safety at all stages of manufacturing activity.
- Compliance to Pfizer integrity principles at all stages of manufacturing.
Participate in internal & external (Regulatory and Non-regulatory) audits.
Documentation - Prepare the daily activity report.
- Complete the documents online as per CGMP and CGDP.
- Should be able to be providing training to the trainees
Training:
To attend the qualified training for all the applicable procedures as per the schedule
