C-MET invites applications from the eligible and highly motivated candidates to fill up the following time-bound positions under a sponsored project aimed at the development of ’70 Kg Hafnium Sponge’. The Positions are purely temporary till the completion of the project (Up to May 2022).

Grade: (Operator Grade-1)

Eligibility: B. Tech./B.E. (chemical) with 2 years Industry experience OR
Diploma (chemical) with 2 years Industry experience OR B.Sc. Chemistry with 2 years
Industry experience
Salary: 18,000/- + 24% HRA
Important Information:
1. Essential Qualification for all the posts is First class and the experience should be in the relevant area of metallurgical/chemical plant extraction/processing operations for process posts. The experience for maintenance staff should be in chemical/metallurgical extraction and processing plant maintenance. However, for persons who have experience in hafnium/zirconium/ titanium processing, 55% marks can also be considered in exceptional cases.
2. Applications can be received by post. In case of a large no. of applications for a particular post, screening may
be done by either conducting a written exam or considering more stringent criteria of qualification or experience.3. The number of posts is tentative and may increase or decrease based on
the requirements of the project.
4. The posts will be initially for the present project duration which is May 2022 and will be extendable for a further period subject to extension of the project or new order received.
5. All the staff will be eligible for Medical Reimbursement up to one month basic subject to submission of bills from C-MET recognized doctors/ hospitals
6. All positions shall be covered under the Comprehensive Accident care Medical Insurance policy.

- Applications received after the due date for whatsoever reasons, shall not be entertained. Incomplete applications are liable to be rejected.
- Write in bold letters ‘APPLICATION FOR RECRUITMENT OF PROJECT STAFF
(TS-001)’ on TOP of the envelope. - Candidates working in Govt./Public Sector Undertakings/Autonomous Bodies should bring ‘NOC’ at the time of interview if called for the same.
- Short-listed candidates shall be called for an interview. Information will be sent to the candidates. No TA/DA shall be given for attending the interview.
- Candidates need to produce their original documents for proof of age, educational qualification, research experience, caste, and no objection (where applicable), along with supporting documents at the time of interview.
- The appointment of selected candidates is subject to his/her being declared medically fit as per the requirement of C-MET.
- It may be noted that the offer of Fellowship does not confer any right of absorption in C-MET.
