Applications are invited for one “Research Associate-III” position to work in Indo-Russian Sponsored DST project entitled “Design and optimization of biocompatible optical nanostructures for biomedical applications under the supervision of Prof. Ramesh Chandra. The appointment will be made as per DST guidelines for RA-III position and detailed requirements are given below.
Job Title: Research Associate -III
Eligibility: Candidates must have a PhD in Chemistry/equivalent subjects, or having 3 years of research, teaching and design & development experience
after MSe/MVSe/M.Pharm ME M.Tech in relevant subjects with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal.
Candidate preferably should have experience in field of Optical Nanostructures, Design, Synthesis and Biomedical Applications
Salary: Candidate will be paid as per DST guidelines Rs 54000 +24% HRA
Service Conditions:
DA: Research Associate will not be entitled to DA.
House Rent Allowance (HRA): Candidate may he provides hostel accommodation wherever available Research fellow hip holder residing in hostel shall not be entitled to HRA Wherever provision of hostel accommodation is not possible, HRA may be allowed, as per Central Government norms applicable in the city location where they are working The percentage quired
for calculating HRA will be based on the fellowship amountLeave and other entitlements
Research Associates are entitled to leave as per rules of the host institution. Participation of RA in scientific event workshop held in India abroad will be reated as on duty with due approval of the host institution. The travel entitlement for RA for participation in
events workshops held in India will continue to be the same as earlier ie 2 AC by rail. Maternity leave as per the Govt of India instruction and from time to time would be available to female candidates in all categories
Age: The upper limit for applying forward of RA shall be 35 years The upper age limit is relatable
Duration: 1 year
