Job Title: Senior Research Fellow
Project Title: Development of a plant protection product based on natural extracts and
oils derived from karanjin, capsaicin, sesamin and garlic (DBT Funded)
No.of posts: 01
Eligibility:
- M.Sc in organic chemistry/chemistry/ Agricultural Chemicals/ Entomology/allied disciplines or 4/5 years graduation degree in allied subject.
- Candidates having 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s degree should have
NET qualification. - Experience in the field of natural products will be preferred.
Fellowship: Rs. 28,000/per month (Consolidated) + HRA
Note: The above positions will be on purely temporary basis and is co-terminus with the project. The initial appointment will be for a period of 6 months extendable thereafter upon satisfactory performance. The selected candidate shall not claim any regular appointment at this institute or at ICAR at the end of contract. The competent authority will have the right to decide the mode of appointment. The competent authority
also reserves the right to terminate the appointment at any time without assigning any reason/notice.
