Job Title: Research Associate – I
Salary: (Rs.47,000/-p.m. with 16% HRA)

Age Limit: 35
Essential: a) Ph.D with M.Sc/M.Pharm/MS in Medicinal Chemistry/Organic
Chemistry/Natural Products Chemistry/ Analytical Chemistry Or i) M.Pharm/ MS/ Msc in Pharmaceutical Analysis/ Medicinal Chemistry/ Organic Chemistry/ Natural Products
Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Analysis ii) 3 yrs research experience
iii)1 research paper in SCI-indexed journal
Desirable: Expertise in synthesizing API knowledge in various organic reactions, natural
product isolation with basic knowledge of biology and at least two publications in SCI
Indexed Journal as a first author.
Position 2
Job Title: Research Associate – I

iii) 1 research paper in SCI-indexed journal
Desirable: Expertise in formulation development (conventional as well as advanced
delivery systems) and analytical techniques such as HPLC/ LCMS/GCMS with at least two
publications in SCI Indexed Journal as a first author. Candidates with industrial experience are highly desirable.
Position 3
Job Title: Senior Research Fellow
Salary: (Rs. 35,000/-p.m. with 16% HRA)
Project: NCPE, DST

Age Limit: 32
Essential: a) Postgraduate degree in M.Pharm b) i)Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests- CSIR-UGC Net including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and
GATE. ii) The selection process through National Eligibility Examinations conducted by
Central Government Departments and their agencies. c) 2 years Research Experience
Desirable: Experience in basic molecular techniques and analytical techniques such as
HPLC with One publication in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) Journal as first author.
General Conditions:
- Those who have fulfilled the above qualification are required to attend the walk-in interview along with the filled in the application, original certificates and one set of self-attested Xerox copies of documents. Certificate verification will commence half an
hour before the scheduled time of the interview - The Director reserves the right to withdraw any or all posts so advertised at any time
without assigning any reason. Proposed requirements are for intermittent period till
posts are sanctioned by the Govt. of India. - On the recommendation of the selection committee, the competent authority may relax
all or any of the requirements related to age, qualification and experience inexperienced and deserving cases. - Incomplete application or without relevant supporting enclosures (attested copies of
degrees/certificates/ marks sheets/experience certificates / Document certifying
the date of birth, reprint of important publications etc.) will be out-rightly rejected. - Canvassing in any form may lead to disqualification of candidature.
- No interim enquiries/correspondence/communication will be entertained.
- All appointments are temporary and contractual in nature and the same is renewable
depending upon performance and mutual consent for every year. The candidate will
have no right to claim for regularization. All appointments are contractual in nature
and on fixed/consolidated pay. - Qualification, the experience will be decided on the date of walk-in interview.
Walk-in-Interview will be held on 18th June 2019 (Tuesday) at NIPER-Guwahati, Mirza campus
