Job Title: Research Scientist
Job Location: ITC Limited, ITC Life Sciences & Technology Centre, Bengaluru
Department: Research in Food Product Microstructure
No.of posts: 01
Eligibility: Ph.D – Chemical, Chemistry, Food Technology, Other Science
Experience: In the area of Product Microstructure (desirable: Food Products) ranging from 3-7 years, Post PhD, with proven scientific track record and preferably demonstrated commercial productization of research ideas.
Age: 30 -37 Years
Job Responsibilities :
- Take initiative in setting up lab experimental facilities and resources based on the requirements for carrying out research in product microstructure.
- Generate and establish systems and processes to deliver commercialisable solutions to businesses engaged in.
- Develop thumb rules for product microstructure based product design for example, in lowering of fat, sugar and salt in food products while retaining sensorial superiority.
Create new ideas for product design and ensure delivery in a timely manner from a robust portfolio of impactful projects for ITC’s Foods Division. - Identify global collaborations that would accelerate delivering products in chosen categories.
- Efficiently network with various teams within ITC (product development, marketing, consumer, quality, manufacturing) to carry forward concepts and ideas to completion.
