Job Title: Project Scientist C (Air Quality and Health Impacts)
No. of posts – 01
Eligibility:
B.Tech./BE Chemical Engineering /Bachelor or Masters’ degree in Chemistry with at least 60% marks from recognized University / Institute
Experience: Minimum 3 years’ experience in Environmental Health and Exposure Assessment
Desirable Qualification:
- Analysis work on Exposure assessment in air quality /Climate
- The experience should be demonstrated through scientific reports/publications.
Job Responsibilities:
Scientist is responsible for doing research in assessing the impact of air quality on Human health.
Position 2
Post Code – MAQWS-2019-004
Job Title: Project Scientist B ( Advance Atmospheric Chemistry Measurements)
No. of posts – 01
Eligibility:
Master degree in Chemistry with at least 60% marks from recognized University / Institute.
Desirable Qualification:
- Ph.D. in any of the above subjects with 2 years of post-doctoral experience in atmospheric Chemistry would be a desirable qualification.
- Research experience in operating advance instruments to monitor Volatile Organic Compounds like proton transfer reaction mass spectrometry (PTRMS).
- Experience in handling online air quality monitor and advance PTRMS instrument with time of flight (PTR-TF-MS) and TD-GC-FID systems.
- Research Experience supported by publications in good impact journals would be an added advantage.
- Candidate should be ready to work in field campaign anywhere in India.
Job Responsibilities:
Selected candidate has to work in Atmospheric Chemistry Laboratory and take care of operation and maintenance of advance instruments, in particular, PTRMS and data analysis.

Job Title: – Project Scientist -B ( Chemical Characterization)
No. of posts – 01
Eligibility: B.Tech./BE Chemical Engineering /Bachelor or Masters’ degree in Chemistry with at least 60% marks from recognized University / Institute
Desirable Qualification:
- Ph.D. in any of the above subjects with 2 years of post-doc experience Experience in handling analytical chemistry instruments such Elemental detection instruments,
Gas chromatograph /Ion Chromatograph, Mass spectrometers, as evidenced by publications. - Hands on experience with IC, AAS, GC-MS/MS, etc
- Knowledge of source apportionment work.
- Shell scripting and meteorological data analysis tools (like GrADS, FERRET, NCL, CDO etc).
- The experience should be demonstrated through scientific reports/publications.
- Good knowledge of atmospheric/environmental chemistry
Job Responsibilities:
Scientist is responsible for analysis of air/water samples, quality checks, calibration of instruments; publish results on chemical characterization of air quality and source contributions.

Job Title: – Scientific Assistant Gr-C ( Emission Inventory)

Eligibility: M.Sc. in Chemistry with at least 55% marks from a recognized University / Institute.
Desirable Qualification:
- Experience after M.Sc. in Emission Inventory development of air pollutants and expertise in GIS.
- Experience and knowledge of Sources of Emissions and data analysis tools.
- Knowledge of Atmospheric air pollution monitoring, chemical characterization, etc.
- Knowledge of MS Office /Excel, ARC-GIS, QGIS, and ERDAS software.
Position 5

Job Title: – Scientific Assistant Gr-C ( Air quality analysis and research)
No. of posts – 01
Eligibility: M.Sc. in Chemistry with at least 55% marks from a recognized University / Institute.
Desirable Qualification:
- Experience after M.Sc. in air pollution data analysis and field Experience in High Volume Sampling.
- Experience in air quality and weather Data management including QA&QC of data.
- Knowledge of Air Pollution, Air Pollution Measurements, Analytical instruments and Chemical characterization of Suspended Particles/ Aerosols.
- Knowledge of Fortran Language /R-Language/GrADs/MS-Office/Excel
Position 6

Job Title: – Project Assistant ( Air quality and atmospheric Chemistry research)

Eligibility: M.Sc. in Chemistry with at least 55% marks from a recognized University / Institute.
Desirable Qualification:
- Knowledge of Air Pollution /Climate change and its Impact of Health.
- Candidate should be ready to work in field campaign anywhere in India and may be posted in Delhi/Ahmedabad/Mumbai/other city.
- Knowledge of GIs software /data management /Programming skill.
