Job Title: Section Incharge (ICP) – Food Lab
Work Location: Pune
Eligibility: Graduate/ Post Graduate in Science with Chemistry as one of the subjects OR Diploma in chemical engineering/technology, Food technology
Experience: 5 to 10 years’ experience as a section in charge.
Job Description:
- Allocation of day to day work to the technical staff and supervising the work of Jr. Analysts/Analysts in the respective departments.
- Adhering to the schedule of work, including commitments by ensuring timely issue of results.
- To ensure that the laboratory meets the customer’s requirements in terms of detection and quantification limits.
- Overall preparation of the Standard operating procedures and the work instructions. Ensure that the tests are done in accordance with the method.
- Validation of the test methods and establish and standardize the new methods and tests as required by the market.
- To ensure that the national and international standards are available for all tests and are followed while conduct of these test.
- Maintain the Reference Materials in the laboratory and monitor their use.
- Examine and verify test results and take actions if any.
- Monitor the equipment maintenance and verification plan & calibration schedule & its implementation.
- Calculation of the UOM for the tests in their respective departments and in house calibrations.
- Implementation of ISO 17025 Quality System as applicable in the laboratory.
- Review of reports & Authorization of result.
- Correctness of the analytical results.
