Description:
- The post is lab based, where the candidate is expected to spend 60% of her/his time in the laboratory. The position starts as an individual contributor, based on his/her capabilities can be given management responsibilities later. Strong problem solving and thinking capabilities will be needed for this position. He/she has to work in a highly collaborative environment both within BBRC and across BMS teams. The candidate is expected to be able to write publications based on his/her work.One of the most important aspect is the person should be a good collaborator, communicator with emotional intelligence. Project support will be first priority along with exploratory works. Regular communication must be maintained and improved upon with BMS counterparts.
- The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to independently design, troubleshoot,execute in-vitro transporters/ADMET studies, interpret the data and communicate to the team to support drug discovery in a fast-paced environment. Hands on experience with transporters is a plus for this position.This role requires a good understanding of the role of transporters in drug disposition and toxicity, preclinical ADME, and basic knowledge on PK parameters.
Skills:
- In vitro DMPK knowledge is important
- Hands on experience in cell culture
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Prior hands on exposure in drug transporter field is preferred
- Strong background in enzyme kinetics
