The Central University of Punjab, Bathinda (CUPB) was established in 2009 along with 12 other Central Universities by an Act of Parliament (No 25, of 2009). Position: Junior Research Fellow
Project Title: Targeting Cancer Stem Cells through One Drug Multi-Target Approach (microtubule inhibition, vascular disruption and anti-angiogenesis)
Principle Investigator: Dr. Vinod Kumar, Assistant Professor
Tenure : Initially for one year, extendable up to the duration of the project based on performance and availability of the fund
Age : Below 30 years on date of interview (Relaxation in age is permissible for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Government of India rules)
Fellowship:
- Rs 25,000/- per month (First two years as JRF)
- Rs. 28000/- per month (Third year as SRF)
Qualification: MPharm. (Medicinal chemistry) M.Sc. Chemistry with at least 55% marks
for GN/OBC (50% for SC/ST/PH) from UGC recognized University/ InstituteDesirable: NET/GPAT/GATE
Experience in synthesis of small organic molecules
